#behavioral disorder

• Agriothymia — A rare psychopathological state or extreme behavioral manifestation characterized by an impulsive tendency toward ferocity, instinctive cruelty, or wild behavior, uncontrolled by moral or social norms. In old alienist medical terminology, the term described a structural regression of affectivity toward primitive stages of brute aggressiveness.
• Amaxomania — A pathological, obsessive, and uncontrollable urge to continuously ride in vehicles or an exaggerated, eccentric passion for automobiles and means of transport. The structural manifestation of this behavioral disorder involves a constant search for motion via mechanical locomotion.
• Amok — An acute psychopathological state of trance and blind rage, characterized by the sudden manifestation of an uncontrolled, destructive, and indiscriminate murderous behavior towards people around, usually followed by complete amnesia and extreme physical exhaustion. This culture-bound syndrome was originally described in Southeast Asian regions, but the term is used modernly to describe violent episodes of homicidal blind rage.
