#baconism
- Baconianism — A philosophical movement, doctrine, or set of epistemological principles based on the works and ideas of Francis Bacon. This system promotes radical empiricism, the exclusive use of the inductive method in scientific research, the technical exploitation of knowledge for societal progress, and the fight against mental 'idols' (cognitive biases that cloud human reason).
