• Azygography — A highly specialized radiological imaging examination method utilized for the visualization and structural evaluation of the azygos venous system (azygos and hemiazygos veins). The procedure consists in injecting a radiopaque contrast medium directly into the rib bone marrow (transcostal azigography) or via a venous catheter, followed by serial X-rays to detect obstructions, congenital malformations, or mediastinal tumor invasions.
