#azonal soil

• Azonal — Not distributed in regular geographic or climatic zones; refers especially to soils (azonal soils) or vegetation formations whose occurrence, evolution, and spatial distribution are exclusively determined by local geological, hydrological, or topographic conditions (such as river alluvium), independent of the macroclimate of that respective latitudinal zone.
