• Avenida — A term of Spanish and Portuguese origin adopted as a neologism in international urbanism and contextually used in Romanian to denote a large urban street, a wide boulevard, a main traffic artery, or a major thoroughfare entering a large city, often flanked by trees, grand buildings, and generous pedestrian spaces. It is primarily used in travel guides, architectural descriptions, and urban planning of metropolises in the Ibero-American region.
