- Blind venturing — The act of venturing blindly or risking oneself and its result; an archaic or regional form for 'aventurare', denoting the act of exposing oneself to a major risk, danger, or an extremely uncertain action without prior preparation. Through historical contamination with the term 'avântare', the word also acquired in certain dialects the meaning of an impulsive throw or sudden propulsion into an unknown or dangerous space.
