• Self-satisfaction — A feeling of contentment, pride, or delight regarding one's own achievements, qualities, actions, or behaviors. In a positive sense, it represents a healthy internal validation of efforts made, while in a pejorative or critical sense, it suggests a state of complacency, self-sufficiency, or vanity that can block personal growth and objective self-analysis.
