- Autoplast — 1. A vegetal cellular organelle (chloroplast) capable of photosynthesis and autonomous self-replication, containing its own structural genetic material (chloroplastic DNA). 2. A fragment of organic tissue harvested from an individual and used as a graft within the same being (autograft), guaranteeing absolute immunological compatibility and eliminating tissue rejection risks.

- Autoplasty — A surgical procedure involving the repair, reconstruction, or replacement of a damaged tissue or organ, performed by transplanting a biological fragment (skin, bone, muscle, or vascular graft) harvested from another area of the same patient's body. This structural process guarantees perfect immunological compatibility and eliminates the risk of graft rejection, being widely utilized in severe burn treatments and restorative plastic surgery.
