#archaic diction
- Altamas — An archaic onomastic and toponymic term of Turanic origin, historically attested as a personal name (Tatar khan, character in popular writings like Alexandria) and used as a geographical name for mountainous landforms. In historical lexicography, it represents a structural variant closely linked to the evolution of proper names of Eastern influence assimilated into the medieval Romanian territory.
- Antipricon — A legal exchange or property compensation offered in place of or on account of the originally established dowry (dotal property). The term, used in old Romanian law during the pre-modern era (such as in the Caragea Code), designated the formal act or contract by which a sold or alienated dotal asset was replaced with an equivalent property to guarantee the wife's economic protection.
- Burning-hot — A regional phonetic variant or archaic form of the adjective 'arzător' or 'arzătoros', describing something that burns, causes scalding, or emits extremely strong heat; figuratively, it applies to intense glances, consuming feelings, or burning desires that weigh upon a person's soul.
