- Antileukemic — Combating, destroying, or halting the proliferation of cancerous cells specific to leukemia; a chemotherapeutic drug, cytostatic agent, or molecular therapy utilized in the treatment of malignant disorders of the hematopoietic system. In a clinical sense, it acts structurally by inhibiting the division of abnormal blastic cells in the bone marrow and restoring normal blood cell production.
