#anti-complementary
- Anticomplementary — Destroying, inactivating, reducing, or interfering with the biological activity of the complement (a group of proteins in blood serum participating in immune response and bacterial destruction). In laboratory diagnosis and serology, the anticomplementary property of a degraded or contaminated blood sample can falsify biological test results, specifically within the complement fixation reaction.
