#antemion
- Anthemion — A classical decorative element inspired by real or idealized flora, composed of repeating floral motifs, such as stylized palmettes or lotus flowers, arranged in a symmetrical sequence. This type of structural ornament was widely used in ancient Greek and Roman architecture to decorate cornices, friezes, antefixes, or column bases, and was later adopted by neoclassical styles.
