#anion-active

• Anion-active — Having surface-active properties determined by a negatively charged ion (anion) within its dissolved molecular structure. The term describes chemical compounds, particularly detergents and wetting agents, whose molecules dissociate in water to release a negatively charged hydrophilic group, directly responsible for emulsifying fats and efficiently removing impurities.
