#angitia
- Angitia — A proper onomastic name representing an ancient Osco-Samnite and Marsic goddess, venerated in the mountainous regions of central Italy for her miraculous healing powers, profound knowledge of medicinal herbs, and structural capacity to dominate venomous snakes. In a mythological and lexicographical context, this well-defined divine figure, often associated with beneficent witchcraft and protection against poisons, constitutes a fundamental research element for the study of pre-Roman cults and ancient magical ethnobotany.
