#androgoniu

• Androgonium — A primordial male mother cell (found in certain algae, fungi, and lower plants) which, through successive mitotic or meiotic divisions, gives rise to androgametes or spermatogenous cells inside an androgametangium. This initial cellular structure is fundamental for initiating male reproductive dynamics in cryptogamic organisms.
