• Aleatorism — A cultural movement, composition technique, or aesthetic doctrine that emerged in the second half of the 20th century, characterized by the deliberate introduction of chance, unpredictability, and freedom of choice into the creation or performance process. In music and visual arts, this structural phenomenon allows the performer or audience to modify the sequence of sections or improvise based on open scores.
