- Aldămaș — A drink or treat offered by the buyer (or the seller) to celebrate and symbolically validate the conclusion of a market deal, sale, or agreement. This widespread rural and commercial custom functions as a moral contract, as the transaction is not considered complete or auspicious without this social ritual.
- Aldămășar — A person who participates in a deal-sealing drink ('aldămaș'), receiving or offering food and drinks to celebrate a trade; by extension, a freeloader or a partygoer who attends rural negotiations solely to benefit from the free drinks provided by traders at the end of a transaction.
- Aldămașeriu — An old legal or administrative fee historically collected in medieval and early modern Transylvania, related to the official authentication of bills of sale or the issuance of privileges. The term represents an institutionalization or legal formalization of the folk custom of 'aldămaș', turned into a mandatory payment to the authorities.
