#aeroion

• Air ion — An electrically charged positive or negative particle in the Earth's atmosphere, formed by a gas atom or molecule (or a small cluster of molecules attached around it) that has lost or gained one or more electrons under the action of cosmic, ultraviolet, or electrical discharge radiation.
• Air ionization — A natural or artificial process through which gas molecules within the air composition are transformed into air ions (electrically charged); in medicine and balneology, it represents the therapeutic use of air controlledly enriched with ions (especially negative ones) to relieve respiratory, cardiovascular, or stress conditions.
• Air ionizer — An electrical appliance or electronic device designed to produce air ions and enrich the atmosphere of a room with electrically charged particles (especially negative ions). This device typically operates based on high-voltage electrical discharges (Corona effect) or ionic dispersion, serving to purify the air by precipitating dust, pollen, and smoke, and is also used for therapeutic purposes.
• Aeroionotherapy — A medical treatment method based on the controlled inhalation of air enriched with air ions, especially negative ions, produced either naturally (near waterfalls, seashores, or in caves) or artificially using an air ionizer. This physical therapy aims to normalize respiratory functions, stimulate blood circulation, regulate the vegetative nervous system, and induce a state of relaxation.
