• Adverbialization — The act of adverbializing and its result; a morphological and syntactic process by which a word belonging to another grammatical class (noun, adjective, pronoun, participle) acquires the value and function of an adverb, losing its inflectional capacity. This mechanism represents one of the main ways of enriching the adverbial system in Indo-European languages through conversion.
