#adevesire

• To blaze a tree — A regional and archaic form, serving as an alternative phonetic variant for the verb 'adevăsi' (or văsui), meaning to mark, notch, or blaze the bark of a forest tree with a special metallic tool. This traditional structural process was historically used by rural communities in mountainous zones to demarcate land property boundaries, establish topographic orientation paths, or select trees intended for timber harvesting.
• Tree-blazing process — The act of blazing trees and its result; a regional form for the process of tree-blazing or physically, structurally marking trees by partially incising the trunk's outer bark. This customary activity served as an archaic method of forest surveying, providing durable visual landmarks for orientation and territorial boundary establishment in rural communities.
