#Swedish river

• Angerman — A proper name of Scandinavian (Swedish) origin used in geography as a hydronym for the Ångerman River (Ångermanälven), one of the longest and most important watercourses in Sweden, located in the north of the country, traversing the historical region of Ångermanland and emptying into the Gulf of Bothnia. As a surname, it is found sporadically in international onomastics, etymologically originating from an old Norse root referencing a narrow bay, a strait, or a territory bounded by waters.
