• Altamus — A toponymic and onomastic variant of the term Altămaș, primarily used in geographical maps and lexicons of mountainous regions (e.g., the Muscel area) to denote a mountain peak or ridge. It is the result of local vocalic assimilation, preserving the same historical background tied to ancient Tatar migrations and Eastern linguistic influences.
