- One thing is to conceal, another to be silent — A famous Latin expression originating from Cicero's writings (De Officiis), literally translated as 'one thing is to conceal, another to be silent'. In a legal and moral sense, the maxim establishes a clear distinction between the deliberate, fraudulent act of hiding an essential truth that one is obligated to reveal (constituting fraud or bad faith) and simple passive silence or omission regarding facts that one is not legally or contractually bound to disclose.
- Archias — A proper name of ancient Greek origin borne by outstanding historical and mythological figures, including the Corinthian aristocrat considered the legendary founder of Syracuse in Sicily, as well as the poet from Antioch publicly defended by Cicero in the famous speech 'Pro Archia'. In academic texts, the name is used structurally as a cultural reference to the Hellenistic period and the expansion of Greek colonies in Magna Graecia.
- Arpino — A historical town and commune in the province of Frosinone, Lazio region, Italy, famous for its ancient origins and for being the birthplace of the renowned Roman orator Cicero and General Caius Marius. The locality preserves remarkable pre-Roman megalithic walls and a well-kept medieval urban layout, constituting a prominent archaeological and cultural benchmark in Central Italy.
