#Aulis
- Adromischus mammillaris — A rare perennial succulent plant species within the genus Adromischus, native to the arid expanses of South Africa, particularly the Little Karoo. The plant features prostrate or decumbent stems and unique, linear-lanceolate yet highly thickened, plump leaves of a light green or olive-green hue, often dotted with dark reddish-purple speckles near the apex. In modern botanical nomenclature, it is taxonomically tied as a synonym to the variable Adromischus filicaulis complex.
- Aechmea nudicaulis — A robust perennial species in the genus Aechmea, widely distributed from Mexico to Brazil, characterized by a tight tubular rosette of rigid leaves with heavily spined margins, often marked by a distinct circular constriction near the base. Its name derives from the erect floral scape which is bare of large leaves for a considerable length, terminating in a dense inflorescence covered by bright red bracts and yellow or greenish flowers.
- White-stemmed — Having a white stem or one covered with a whitish, woolly, or downy coating; a morphological indicator used in botany and taxonomy to describe plants or trees remarkable for the immaculate coloring of their main axis (such as the whitebark pine - Pinus albicaulis).
- Aulis — An ancient port city in Boeotia, Ancient Greece, situated on the Euripus Strait. In Greek mythology, it is famous as the gathering point of the Greek fleet led by Agamemnon before sailing to the Trojan War and the site of Iphigenia's sacrifice.
- Bacopa amplexicaulis — The scientific name of a perennial aquatic plant species in the genus Bacopa, characterized by erect stems and fleshy, ovate leaves that partially clasp the stem (amplexicaul). Also known by its synonym Bacopa caroliniana, this structural plant is highly popular in the aquarium hobby due to the aromatic lemon scent emitted by crushed leaves and its high resilience in intensely lit tanks.
