• Annapolis — The capital of the state of Maryland in the United States of America and the county seat of Anne Arundel County, structurally situated on the Chesapeake Bay, at the mouth of the Severn River. The city is world-renowned as the home of the US Naval Academy and for its historic 18th-century architecture, having served historically (between 1783 and 1784) as the temporary capital of the United States, where the Treaty of Paris was signed.
