#Alaska
- Alaska — The largest state by area in the United States of America, located at the northwestern extremity of the North American continent, separated from the rest of the country by Canada; a region of major strategic and ecological importance, historically purchased from the Russian Empire in 1867. This structural territory is renowned for its spectacular mountainous relief, massive glaciers, rich natural resources in oil and gas, and unique arctic biodiversity, officially integrated as the 49th US state in 1959.
- Aleutians — An archipelago of over 300 small volcanic islands, arranged in a long arc separating the Bering Sea from the North Pacific Ocean. Most of these islands belong to the US state of Alaska, while their western extremity belongs to Russia, the region being structurally renowned for intense seismic activity along the Pacific Ring of Fire.
- Aleuts — An indigenous population native to the Aleutian Islands and the western region of the Alaska Peninsula, linguistically and culturally related to the Eskimos (Inuit). Historically, they are recognized for their remarkable adaptation to the subarctic environment, being skilled marine mammal hunters and creators of unique traditional watercraft called baidarkas.
- Anchorage — The largest city in the U.S. state of Alaska, located in the south-central part of the region on the shores of Cook Inlet. It represents the primary economic, commercial, transportation, and cultural center of Alaska, containing over 40% of the state's total population, while also serving as a globally strategic aviation and maritime port hub.
