#Agapitus

• Agapit — A masculine given name and surname of Greek origin, used historically in the Christian-Orthodox and hagiographic spaces; it originates from the name 'Agapetos', which structurally translates to 'the beloved', 'esteemed', or 'worthy of love'. In universal ecclesiastical history, this name was borne by two popes of Rome and numerous early Christian saints and theologians, forming an onomastic pillar based on the virtue of spiritual love.
